The light and spacious (65m²) apartment at Chalet Balaena is reached via steps down from the driveway and has its own front door. It is fully equipped for up to 6 people. Central heating makes it cosy and warm, and there is always plenty of hot water. There are beautiful, unobstructed views of the mountain scenery.
Bedrooms & Sofa Beds:
It has two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. There are also two sofa beds with futon style mattresses in the living room. Each bedroom has large built in wardrobes as well as a chest of drawers (also provided in the living room). All the beds have non-allergenic duvets and pillows and the sofa beds are easy-folding with futon mattresses.
Bathrooms:
There is a large bathroom with full-length bath, shower, large basin and heated towel rail. There is a separate WC. In addition there is a further shower room with WC. A washing machine is provided in the large bathroom.
Living Room:
The sitting area is furnished with two sofas and good-sized coffee table. For entertainment, there is a TV/video with DVD, along with some DVDs, videos, books and games. There is also a CD/Radio/cassette player. A telephone line is available and there is a possibility of wi-fi.
Kitchen:
The kitchen is equipped with a full size hob and oven, a large fridge, a dishwasher and a full range of cooking equipment. The dining area has a large table and has matching sets of glass, cutlery and crockery for 6.
Storage:
The hallway has plenty of space to store skis, boards and boots and to hang outdoor clothing.
Garden:
A French window opens out from the living area onto the South-facing lawn. A table, chairs and parasol are provided, along with a barbecue.
Parking:
There is private parking for 1 or 2 cars on the driveway, which is kept clear of snow in winter.
